Jessica Harrison is a mixed-media artist based in Central Queensland, working with acrylics, collage, gouache, and inks to create expressive, layered works that
explore the emotional connection between humans and animals. Her practice blends vibrant colour, texture, and intuitive mark-making to evoke feeling and reflection. From
2017—2023 she pursued a self-directed studio practice, developing her
distinctive style through experimentation and independent study before
commencing formal training. Currently completing a Diploma of Visual Arts at
Central Queensland University, Jess exhibits regularly in regional shows, with
works held in private collections across Australia. With a growing focus on
community engagement, she is also developing workshops for children and adults to foster creativity through expressive techniques.
